Chuck is a supply chain veteran, with a wide range of transportation experience for over 40 years. Thirty-seven of these years were spent in the same day/customized logistics sector.

Chuck was CEO for over 20 years for EXPRESS, which provided same- day scheduled and on-demand distribution and warehouse logistics to support healthcare, financial services, office products, pharmaceuticals, auto parts, manufactured goods and other businesses of all sizes.

Chuck is currently President of ROVA Platform, a Partner with Tompkins Ventures and a member of the CLDA Board of Directors.

Dr. James A. Tompkins is an international authority on designing and implementing end-to-end supply chains. As the founder and Chairman of Tompkins International, his focus over the last several years has been in the areas of digital commerce, unichannel and supply chain reinvention. Over the last 40 years, Tompkins International has evolved from a supply chain consulting firm into an end-to-end supply chain consulting and solutions company, with business units focusing on supply chain consulting, material handling integration, and robotics. Jim recently founded Tompkins Ventures, LLC, a firm that helps executive teams address four big problems: entrepreneurial growth, industrial development, supply chain resilience and logisctics partnerships.

Jim is a thought leader, sharing insights on supply chain excellence through his thousands of presentations around the world and his YouTube videos have had over a million views. Jim also shares his knowledge and provides up-to-date information on supply chain and business trends via Linkedin and Twitter. He has written or contributed to more than 30 books and over 1,000 articles and has been quoted in hundreds of business and industry magazines.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1969, his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1970 and his Ph.D. in 1972, all from Purdue University.

As Chief Operating Officer of Barrett Distribution Centers, Tim has led a team that has built Barrett from a single location to a nationwide provider of ecommerce fulfillment and omni-channel logistics solutions.  Tim’s primary responsibility is to develop customized warehousing, transportation, and information technology solutions that improve performance and reduce their overall supply chain costs.

Before joining Barrett Distribution, Tim held positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Tim received his M.B.A. from The Ross School at The University of Michigan and B.A. in Economics and Accounting from The College of the Holy Cross.

Henry Dixon


Mr. Dixon has more than 45 years’ experience providing leading technology for final mile carriers. He is and entrepreneurial leader in technology for final mile delivery services and is a Hall of Fame member of the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA). He is the founder of two leading technology companies serving the final mile delivery space, Datatrac Corporation and eTrac Technologies. Datatrac provides operating software for final mile carriers and eTrac technology links shipper’s systems with the systems of local delivery services to facilitate the real-time tracking of shipments as they move through the last leg of the supply chain. Mr. Dixon received a Master’s degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. After serving two years as an officer in the US Army, he worked as a senior systems and business consultant for Arthur Andersen & Co and received a CPA certificate in 1974.

Tom McGrath is the founder and Chief Executive Office of ROVA (http://rovahq.com), an on-demand platform that provides 24/7 access to independent drivers for same day delivery of packages.

As Chief Executive Officer of ROVA, Tom McGrath brings more than thirty years’ industry experience to the role. He first tested the ROVA concept in several US cities before formally launching in Boston in 2017. He is additionally the founder and CEO of NICA (National Independent Contractors Association), which since 1992 has supported independent contractors by leveraging buying power for their insurance and tax services. The organization serves thousands of independent contractors across the United States who work in the courier industry.

Mr. McGrath is a Braintree, MA native who has also founded MyBizBen.com.
